I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mae for a while now, photographing her product photos for Brand Wednesdays Snacks—her delicious, vibrant, and just plain fun snack brand. So when she reached out to book her very first branding portrait session, I was beyond excited to help bring her face into the spotlight.

Mae admitted she’d never done portrait photos before, and to be honest, she wasn’t totally sure what to expect. But by the time we wrapped, she was absolutely flabbergasted at how much fun she was having! (Her words, not mine—although I totally agree.)

We laughed, we hyped, we created magic—and captured the real Mae behind the brand. Watching her go from nervous to confidently glowing in front of the camera was such a joy. Branding portraits are about so much more than just a headshot. They’re about telling your story, showing your vibe, and connecting with your audience in an authentic, beautiful way.

And Mae? She crushed it.
